Adult Workshops

A class in the processes and materials of collage. Includes some history, color studies and creation/individualization of your papers. Collage a sketchbook and use for the presentation of the pieces in the class.

SUPPLIES

MATERIALS YOU MAY NEED TO BUY:
*11”x14” spiral bound drawing notebook
. *Liquid acrylic paints (I use Blickrylic colors, $26 for 6 pack of pints)
*Cray pas
*Drawing paper (Dick Blick 100 sheet pkg sulfite paper 12x18, 80 lb abt. $6.50)
*Brown paper (roll or bags)
Tracing paper
Gesso (small)
Matte medium
Glue sticks
*1 Squeegee (I do have a few which we can share in class)
1 Brayer (I do have a couple which we can share in class)
*Sponge brushes ( 1 or 2 of 1” or 1 ½” is fine)
Delicate surface masking tape

MATERIALS YOU PROBABLY ALREADY HAVE AROUND THE HOUSE:
Tin foil
Rubbing alcohol
Paper towels
*Bucket
*White glue (Elmers)
Rags
Scissors
Pencil

*STARRED ITEMS WE WILL USE IN THE FIRST CLASS
